An NHS adaptation of the Montreal Model
CIM-KeT (CNWL–Imperial–Montreal Ketamine Therapy) adapts the Montreal Model for the UK healthcare system and is currently being piloted at the CIPPRes Clinic at Imperial College London and CNWL.
A parallel model at national scale
In 2025, Norway introduced nationwide public reimbursement for intravenous ketamine treatment for treatment-resistant depression. Its integrated approach, combining ketamine with preparation, music, and psychotherapy, has been described in peer-reviewed literature as closely resembling the Montreal Model.
Clinical education and knowledge exchange
In May 2026, Dr. Nicolas Garel delivered a two-day workshop hosted by Aurora Healthcare at Belmont Private Hospital in Brisbane, bringing together psychiatrists from across the Aurora network and drawing on his experience co-developing the Montreal Model.
